DESIGN REVISION is a simple, helpful utility for tracking and monitoring the revision date of a Design file automatically. By placing the ‘Date’ control in a prominently visible place in the schematic, you can quickly and easily see the last emulation date and time as well as the last compilation date and time. A reset button is also provided to clear the block when in emulation mode in the event you need to copy the block from one design to another.

The Design Code is stored as a reference so the compilation time is not changed if a core restarts or there is a redundancy state change. Only new compilations or emulations will cause the relevant date and time to change.
