DTMF GENERATOR is a simple dual-tone multi-frequency generator that follows the International Telecommunication Union’s standard Q.23. The intended usage of this plugin is to provide audible feedback on the local side of a teleconferencing system as Q-Sys does not allow for the playback of individual tones per key pressed in a POTS or VOIP dial pad.

The ITU Q.23 standard provides two groups of four frequencies for a total of 16 combinations. The provided controls correspond to the correct reservation of these frequencies including the seldom used control signals A, B, C, and D.

This plugin only uses sine wave generators and does not use any internal audio players.
